Sailing from south to north and before rounding Cape Cabo Huertas, this is the first shelter offered to craft. It is easy to identify from the sea because of the completely restored watchtower constructed on shore in the sixteenth century. The sailing club has been renovated recently and the number of moorings have been increased, as well as the services on offer. Its proximity to the Sant Joan d'Alacant beach is another attraction. It has an officially approved sailing school where light sailing courses are offered, for both beginners and advanced levels.
