The fishing port of Villajoyosa has been reformed and now offers all the usual harbour services, of first quality to the navigator. 50% of the 323 berths are reserved for the passer-by. Craft of up to 25 metres in length are admitted and there is a light sailing school that gives training courses in summer and at Easter. Kayak and fishing competitions are also organised here. In Villajoyosa there is one of the few casinos of the valencian coast. La Vila (so the locals call their village) is famous for their chocolate, and of course by the excellent fish and seafood restaurants.
